A Little about Myself!

"The medicore teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires." -William Arthur Ward

The NCLB defines a highly qualified teacher as "as teacher who has certification in their content area." I believe a highly qualified teacher should not just be someone who is certified, but be someone who is effective and uses efficient strategies to assist students and help them stay on or above grade level.

I am pre-service teacher looking to become an inservice teacher in the next year. I have successfully completed four years at Florida A&M University. I will also pursue my master's at Florida State University, majoring in Educational Leadership.

I am from West Palm Beach, Florida. I complete high school at Suncoast Community High School. I grew up in Riviera Beach, Florida, with my parents and sister. I am a family oriented person, I love being around my family, because they alway kept focused and prayed up!
I began mentoring students in the 5th grade, I always had a fondness for assisting students, I believe it was my duty to equip them with the knowledge I have acquired.
